Legends of the Freight Series: This show is part of an ongoing series honoring artists who have contributed to the Freight’s legacy and history over many decades.

Celebrate the season with the Annual Winter Solstice Concert by longtime Windham Hill recording artist, Barbara Higbie. Joined by her brilliant musical friends; guitarist, Vicki Randle, percussionist, Michaelle Goerlitz, cellist, Mia Pixley, bassist, Kofy Brown and mandolin prodigy, Jasper Manning, Barbara performs selections from the multi-platinum selling Windham Hill Winter Solstice series and her new Chillogy series. It is a warm, joyful and inclusive holiday tradition made new each year.

Barbara Higbie, a Grammy nominated, Bammy award winning pianist, singer-songwriter and violinist was the first female instrumentalist signed to Windham Hill label. She has released 20 original albums, worked with Bonnie Raitt, Carlos Santana, Terry Riley and the Kronos Quartet and appears on over 120 albums.
