Kids ages 9-12 are invited to join us for a week-long camp devoted to blues harmonica! Over the course of five half-days, campers will learn essential techniques, explore the rich history of blues, and gain hands-on experience playing classic blues riffs. Led by Aki Kumar, The King of Bollywood Blues, students will build their confidence and musical skills and engage with special guest artists as well. Whether you’re a total beginner of have a little experience, this camp is the perfect place to discover the power of the harmonica and the expressive soul of the blues. Price includes harmonica, student admission to the June 9th Circlesongs event at the Freight, and admission for two to the June 14th Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir & San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus Juneteenth concert at the Freight!
